Residents in Kilmore and nearby communities will be able to raise federal matters directly with Federal Member for Nicholls Sam Birrell MP and his electorate office team at a drop-in mobile electorate office on Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 June 2026.
Kilmore and nearby communities became part of the Nicholls electorate at the 2025 federal election following boundary changes.
The mobile office will make it easier for residents to access support close to home.
Sessions will be held from 9am to 1pm on both days in the Meeting Room at the Kilmore Customer and Library Service Centre, 12 Sydney Street, Kilmore. No appointment is required.
“Every community in Nicholls should be able to access help with federal matters when they need it,” Mr Birrell said.
“These sessions are about making it easier for Kilmore residents to raise federal matters close to home, ask questions face to face, and get practical support.”
Mr Birrell and his electorate office team can assist with federal government matters including Centrelink, Medicare, Child Support, the NDIS, myGov and Department of Veterans’ Affairs issues.
Residents do not need to have a major issue to attend. They are welcome to stop by to ask a question, raise a concern, or find out what support is available.
“The best way to understand local issues is to listen directly to the people raising them,” Mr Birrell said.
“Come in, have a chat, and let us know how we can help. The door is open.”
