An icy cold morning in Echuca to jump into the icy water and raise funds for the Special Olympics.
Special Olympics provides year round sports programs for individuals of all capabilities with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.sport brings people together and fosters inclusion and friendships.
Echuca has a vibrant Special Olympics club and community and it was great to be part of it this morning!!

Congratulations to Jennifer, who became an Australian citizen at the Greater Shepparton citizenship ceremony last week.
Jennifer was one of around 100 people who took the pledge that morning, each bringing their own story and their own reasons for choosing to call this region home.
Jennifer moved to Australia from the Philippines in 2012 and has called our region home ever since.
She has spent eight years working at Premier Fresh in Lancaster, a job she says she loves.
It was a pleasure to meet Jennifer and celebrate this important milestone with her.
